Golang Job: Security Engineer - Cyber Defense (They-She-He)

• Participate, coordinate and perform incident response globally
• Improve our defensive intrusion detection and incident response capabilities
• Develop and apply defense mechanisms across Glovo environment
• Propose and create new standards and tools to improve security posture of Glovo environment
• Provide security expertise while working across the company on critical security initiatives
• Contribute to improving overall security of Glovo as a whole by participating in Security Team's initiatives
• Support Security team in fostering security culture and designing awareness campaigns

• Professional experience in the defensive security area (such as SOC, Threat Hunting or Incident Response) or similar field such systems security or network security
• In-depth technical knowledge of networking, applications and operating system security
• Experience with monitoring, analysing and understanding log sources for threat hunting
• Solid experience with SIEM and/or IDS/IPS technologies and advanced knowledge of detection rules/signatures creation
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Golang
• Experience with security tooling and features in AWS or other cloud providers
• Proven problem solving, analytical and investigative skills combined with the ability to develop creative solutions and navigate through ambiguity in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Proven team player, collaborating well with others to tackle problems in a team-focused dynamic
• Excellent written and communications skills, as well as strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• See computer security and its challenges as a game and enjoy it
